Long ago there were people. But unknown too many there was magic. There was a small group, nomads who discovered this. They used there magic and made themselves half animal half human. There were eight of them, each had a different animal. Bird, Cat, Dog, Shark, Raccoon, Snake, Spider, and Vampire Bat. Well time passed and the gene became weaker. Now of the eight only one has so strong genes, to have every generation have it. The vampires. The others only one child every century has the mutation. The Roans, the group of the vampires, since the death of there mother, have hunted down and killed most of the off spring as they are born. Some they make their allies. Or kill them. They don’t know exactly who the one who will receive their power is, but they receive it when the clock strikes midnight on their thirteenth birthday. There are more children with the gene though not of the eight. These are less powerful but could also hold the balance. Will the children of this generation survive to become more powerful on there eighteenth birthday or will they all fall at the hands of the Roans? You may be the one thing keeping them alive. Or may you be one of the Roans and make them fall?
