NEW book from Stephenie Meyer, The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner: An Eclipse Novella!

This new Twilight Saga story is a novella told from the point of view of Bree, a character originally featured in Eclipse. One dollar of each book purchased in the US from the first printing will be donated to the American Red Cross for their relief efforts in Haiti and Chile and other parts of the world where people are in great need.

"I'm as suprised as anyone about this novella," said Stephenie Meyer. "When I began working on it in 2005, it was simply an exercise to help me examine the other side of Eclipse, which I was editing at the time. I thought it might end up as a short story that I could include on my website. Then, when work started on The Twilight Saga: The Official Guide, I thought the Guide would be a good fit for my Bree story. However, the story grew longer than I anticipated, until it was too long to fit in the Guide."

The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner is the riveting story of Bree Tanner, a newborn vampire first introduced in Eclipse, and the darker side of the world she inhabits. The novella chronicles the newborn vampire army's journey as they prepare to close in on Bella Swan and the Cullens, following their encounter to its unforgettable conclusion.

It will be available in bookstores across the country on Saturday 5th June. The book will be released on Saturday 5th June at 12.05 p.m. in Western Australia, 1.35 p.m. in South Australia and the Northern Territory, and 2.05 p.m. on the East Coast of Australia.

Exciting! I'd love to read this I think it would be quite interesting I've always liked Bree but never as much as my Alice and Jane (My favourite characters). What do you guys think of this? Sorry about adding in the Australia release dates I know most of you dont need to know that haha.

IMO it sounds interesting but considering Bree winds up dying in Eclipse anyways it'd be awkward to read about her second life, I'd like to read it myself but yeah it'd be like reading Midnight Sun which is written from Edward's point of view.

I can't wait for Midnight Sun to come out :3 i wanna know what runs through Edwards mind during that time period of James, Laurent, and Victoria haha. Plus the mere fact of what he really thinks about Jacob Black x3

I'm going to get the Bree Tanner book once it gets out. I'd love to read from a carnivore vampires point of veiw. I know there hasnt been much said about Midnight Sun because of those evil people who released it online, but it'd be great to read the rest of it I really enjoyed reading from Edward point of view.

i don't think she is going to continue on with midnight sun. she said so herself on her website. thus why the unfinished book is posted up on her site for you to read it. it's like..6-12 chapters or something. it's good. but, since those people leaked it out, it ruined her muse for it. since that was a creation to her and something special. so i can understand her view of why she probably won't ever finish it.

but..bree tanner..yeah, i'd like to read that. :3 i think it would be interesting. it's something from aside the cullen's and such. to see it all through a different person's point of view.

I rest my case because after reading the introduction on waldenbook's website I take what I said back it does sound interesting, yeah sadly Midnight Sun may never be released because of that Oh well personally I wasn't all that interested in Midnsight sun even if it did come out.
